    • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz / 170 g each)

    • 2 tablespoons olive oil

    • 2 tablespoons butter

    • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

    • 1 teaspoon paprika

    • ½ teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning

    • Salt and black pepper, to taste

    • Optional garnish: fresh parsley, lemon wedges

  1. Season the Salmon
    Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
    Season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat the Pan
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. Cook the Salmon
    Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet.
    Cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Make the Butter Sauce
    Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and lemon juice to the pan.
    Spoon the melted butter sauce over the salmon for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Serve
    Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges. Serve immediately.
