Ingredients
• 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• ¾ cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 2 large eggs
• 1 cup milk
• ½ cup vegetable oil
• 1 ½ cups fresh apples, peeled and diced
• ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
3. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
4. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, and vegetable oil.
5. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
6. Fold in diced apples and walnuts (if using).
7. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
8. Bake 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
9. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
