  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Whipped Topping

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
