For the Salad:

  • 2 medium apples, diced (Honeycrisp or Fuji work well)
  • 2 medium pears, diced (Bartlett or Anjou)
  • 1 cup red seedless grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate arils
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

For the Cinnamon-Honey Dressing:

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Dressing

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well blended.

Assemble the Salad

  1. Prepare the Fruit: Dice the apples and pears, and halve the grapes. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add Dried Cranberries and Pomegranate: Mix in the cranberries and pomegranate arils.
  3. Pour Over the Dressing: Drizzle the cinnamon-honey dressing over the fruit mixture.
  4. Toss to Coat: Gently toss the salad until all the fruit is evenly coated with the dressing.

Optional Step: Add Nuts

  1. Stir in Chopped Pecans or Walnuts: For added crunch and flavor, mix in the chopped nuts before serving.
