Instructions
Prepare the Pasta
- Cook Linguine: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
Make the Scampi Sauce
- Melt Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add Garlic: Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Deglaze: Pour in the white wine (or seafood broth) and lemon juice, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
- Season: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add Lobster: Gently fold in the chopped lobster meat, allowing it to heat through for about 2-3 minutes.
Combine and Serve
- Combine Pasta: Add the drained linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
- Adjust Consistency: If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
- Plate: Serve the Lobster Scampi in bowls, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
