Instructions
Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust:
- Combine Crust Ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and brown sugar until fully combined.
- Layer in Parfait Glasses: Spoon a small amount of the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of each glass or jar, pressing down gently to form a crust layer.
- Set Aside: Place the glasses in the fridge while you prepare the other layers.
Make the Cheesecake Filling:
- Beat the Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add Powdered Sugar and Vanilla: Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until combined.
- Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the Cream into the Cream Cheese Mixture: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and well combined.
Prepare the Apple Pie Filling:
- Cook the Apples: In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced apples and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add Sugar and Spices: Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the apples are coated in a syrupy mixture and softened.
- Cool: Remove from heat and allow the apple mixture to cool to room temperature.
Assemble the Parfaits:
- Layer the Ingredients: In each glass, add a layer of graham cracker crust, followed by a layer of cheesecake filling, and then a layer of the cooled apple pie filling.
- Repeat Layers: Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, ending with a layer of cheesecake filling.
- Chill: Cover the parfaits and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to let the flavors meld together.
Serve and Garnish:
- Top with Caramel Sauce: Just before serving, drizzle the parfaits with caramel sauce.
- Garnish: Optionally, add whipped cream, cinnamon, or crushed nuts for extra texture and flavor.
