Instructions
Prepare the Shrimp
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Season Shrimp: In a large bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Spread the shrimp evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Make the Topping
- Mix Topping Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until the breadcrumbs are well coated with oil.
- Top the Shrimp: Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the shrimp in the baking dish.
Bake the Dish
- Bake Shrimp Oreganata: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the topping is golden brown.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.
