  • 2 cups (8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup (4 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup (240ml) sour cream
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

Follow these steps to prepare Slow Cooker Cheesy Potatoes:

  1. Prep the Potatoes: Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  2. Mix the Cheese Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Layer Ingredients: In the slow cooker, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the diced onion, and half of the cheese sauce. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, onion, and cheese sauce. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and paprika (if using).
  4. Cover and Cook: Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Serve: Stir gently to combine before serving.
