    • 2 lbs (900 g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

    • Salt and black pepper, to taste

    • 1 teaspoon paprika

    • 2 tablespoons olive oil

    • 3 tablespoons butter

    • 4 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1 cup heavy cream

    • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

    • 1 tablespoon honey

    • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning or thyme

    • Optional garnish: fresh rosemary, parsley, or chives

  1. Season the Chicken
    Pat the chicken dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  2. Sear the Chicken
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add the chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce
    Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
    Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  4. Create the Creamy Base
    Pour in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, honey, and Italian seasoning.
    Simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring, until slightly thickened.
  5. Combine
    Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
    Simmer for 2–3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve
    Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
