  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (or all-purpose flour)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for warmth)
  • Pinch of salt

For the Caramel Nut Topping

  • 3/4 to 1 cup thick caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 3/4 cup chopped toasted nuts (pecans, walnuts, or a mix)
