  • Salt, to taste
  • Optional: paprika or garlic powder for extra flavor

For the Beef Filling

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20 is great for flavor)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional if beef is lean)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1–2 tbsp tomato paste (makes it richer)
  • Optional: 2–3 tbsp water or beef broth (helps seasoning coat beef)
