Cinnamon Sugar Tear and Share Breakfast Bread

A soft, buttery cinnamon sugar breakfast loaf with a tender crumb and crisp sweet topping. Perfect for sharing and enjoying warm with coffee.


Ingredients

• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

• 1 cup granulated sugar

• 2 large eggs

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 1 cup whole milk

• 2 cups all-purpose flour

• 1 tbsp baking powder

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

• 1/4 cup granulated sugar for topping

• 1 tsp ground cinnamon for topping


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.

2. Cream together softened butter and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla.

4. Mix in milk until fully combined.

5. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and 1 tbsp cinnamon.

6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

8. Mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over batter.

9. Bake 50–60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

10. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
