For the Roasted Cabbage

- 2 medium heads green cabbage, cut into wedges

- ¼ cup olive oil

- 1 tsp salt

- ½ tsp black pepper

- 1 tsp garlic powder
🧀 For the “Marry Me” Creamy Cheese Sauce (THIS WAS MISSING)

- 2 tbsp butter
-
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 cup heavy cream
-
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

- ½ cup shredded mozzarella (for that melty look in the photo)

- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, classic “Marry Me” touch)

- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
1️⃣ Roast the Cabbage
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
- Arrange cabbage wedges on a lined baking sheet
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder
- Roast 25 minutes, flip, then roast another 20–25 minutes
- Cabbage should be deeply golden and fork-tender
2️⃣ Make the Creamy Cheese Sauce
While cabbage roasts:
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat
- Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3–4 minutes
- Stir in Parmesan until smooth
- Add mozzarella and stir until fully melted and stretchy
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes
✔️ Sauce should be thick, creamy, and glossy
3️⃣ Combine & Melt
- Transfer roasted cabbage to a serving dish
- Pour the hot cheese sauce generously over the cabbage
- Optional: place under broiler 2–3 minutes for extra bubbling and browning
