Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. - Cook the Sausage:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease and set aside. - Mix the Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, frozen hashbrowns, softened cream cheese, eggs, milk, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined. - Assemble the Casserole:
Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly. - Bake:
Place in the oven and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown on top and set in the center. - Cool and Serve:
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
